Father's Day and the 4th!

Well...again another few weeks have passed since my last post. I can't believe how fast time is going!

First, I will blog about Andy's Father's Day. We had just gotten back from North Dakota two days before, so we decided to take it easy for Andy's second Father's Day. We spent the day at the lake and relaxed. Since Gigi and Pop's have such a nice set-up over there...we spend a lot of our weekends there. This was no exception. We spent time swimming, getting some sun, and spending time together as a family. Here are a few pictures from Father' Day.

For the 4th of July, we celebrated not only the 4th but Gigi's birthday as well. We were lucky enough to have Andy's Mom come down from South Bend to spend the weekend with us. We had such a good time that weekend...it was one of the best weekend's we have had.

First, we made a trip down to the Indianapolis Zoo to check out the Cheetah's (of course) and it was nice to go down there with Andy's Mom who hasn't been there in years. Liam LOVED the giraffes and elephants, he would jump and point with a big smile on his face when he saw them. Liam also was able to race a Cheetah...he ran down the runway they had with all of his might...it was adorable. Of course, the cheetah won...but it was fun to watch him try. We also got to hang out with our friends, the Christian's, for a little bit...which was awesome. Here are a few pics from the day.

Then we celebrated Gigi's birthday at Symphony on the Prairie. This was such a great time. Although it was a little warm for awhile...it was so fun to listen to the music, run around with Liam, and of course, watch the fireworks. I think the best part was watching Liam dance for 2 hours straight! He also loves flags, so he held his flags and glow stick (thanks Auntie!) the entire night. It was so cute. He was one of the most patriotic kiddos there. Daddy, Pop's, and Auntie Kimber went up in a hot air balloon too. We were so proud of Daddy to conquer his fear of heights and go up in the sky! He ended up having a great time and even said he would do it again! Here are a few pictures and a video from that night.
