The Tschida Family: Happy First Halloween!

I have to say that I had the best time trick or treating with my family and Liam. We all got into the spirit of Halloween this year, especially since it was Liam's first time experiencing all that Halloween has to offer. We decorated the front of the house with our carved pumpkins and fake cobwebs. Here are some pictures of our creations.

We all decided to get into character this year. Andy and I were both pumpkins for our first Halloween's, so we decided to dress Liam up as a pumpkin too. And he, of course, looked absolutely adorable! We loved it and he didn't seem to mind being dressed up in costume either. Andy and I decided to dress up as farmers (specifically pumpkin farmers.) While my sister and her boyfriend, Bill, decided to dress as Harry and Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber. For those of you who don't know my sister well, this was a perfect costume for her. Not only is Dumb and Dumber her absolute favorite movie, but she can do the "Dumb and Dumber face" with the best of them. Exhibit A:

Their costume was just too funny! Although, Liam was very weary of Auntie Kimber in her costume for awhile. Gigi and Pops of course came too, but decided to go as themselves for Halloween this year. Maybe we can get them to dress up next year!

So around 6 o'clock we loaded up Liam in his wagon and took him around to several houses. It was so fun to see all of the kids in the neighbourhood dressed up in their costumes. They were so adorable and I loved every minute of it. After the fun was over we headed back home for a big dinner of chili and we even got some trick or treater's this year!

Overall, it was an incredible night and I am even more anxious for the Holiday's to come. Everything seems better experiencing it with Liam.
