Tree Decorating

Of course, our third Christmas tradition, is to decorate our tree. We cut down a really good tree this year and it was fun to be able to decorate the tree with Liam. He really got into putting up his (unbreakable) ornaments on the bottom of the tree.

And too my surprise, he left the tree alone all month...even though it was put up right in his playroom!

One of my favorite things to do is reminiscence about all the old ornaments that Andy and I have. One thing my Mom did for us was to buy my sister and I an ornament for each year. Once we got married, she gave us a box full of all of the ornaments we collected over the years. Since Andy has been around for almost ten years, he has quite a selection too. It was fun to start at the 1980 ornament and work my way to the 2010 ornament. Of course, I have been carrying on the tradition for Liam as well.
